About Richard

Richard A. Fineman has nearly 30 years of extensive and diverse experience representing, counseling, and advising a diverse range of clients in a wide variety of transactional real estate and real estate finance matters. Rich has handled transactions of varying sizes and complexity across numerous industry sectors, including retail, office, industrial, port facilities, parking facilities, data centers, multi-family housing, student and military housing, condominiums, senior living facilities, P3 transactions, mixed-use developments, and numerous complex renewable energy project-financing transactions.

Before opening his own firm in late 2023 (where Rich continues to dedicate his practice to real estate and real estate financing transactions, and related matters), Rich practiced at several prominent Philadelphia-based law firms and served as in-house General Counsel for a regional property developer and manager.

Rich is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), serves as vice chair of the ABA RPTE Section's Property, Casualty and Non-Title Insurance Committee, and has received an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating* by Martindale-Hubble®. Rich also served as adjunct faculty at Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law for close to four years (where he taught classes on Commercial Leasing and Interviewing, Negotiating, and Counseling) and he frequently speaks at industry conferences and authors presentation materials for industry publications and continuing legal education programs, concentrating on insurance and risk management topics affecting real estate.
